This is so exciting. More casting news for the Doctor Sleep movie. Carl Lumbly (Supergirl) will play the Dick Halloran character and Alex Essoe takes on the role of Wendy Torrance, these roles were previously played by Shelley Duvall and Scatman Crothers in The Shining.

Rebecca Ferguson will play Rose the Hat and Zahn McClarnon will reportedly play Crow Daddy. Ok so, these characters in the book, “dang” that’s all I’m going to say on that, but I can’t wait to see these characters come to live in the movie.

The casting for the character for Abra Stone is Kyliegh Curran. Abra is the badass teen with psychic abilities that rivals her uncle Danny Torrance. Can’t wait to see this character in action.😍

Ewan McGregor says the upcoming adaption of Doctor Sleep will be faithful to the book. If this is true then it will definitely be an awesome movie, in my opinion.
