Hi everyoneđ. This week’s podcast mention is actually one of my very favourite True Crime podcast. My Favourite Murder, this amazing true crime comedy podcast is hosted by Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark.

I’ve been listening to these ladies since they started in January of 2016. They do live shows around the world as well, when they came to Toronto last September I went to see them, with a few other murderinos (well duhđ of course I did).
The beautiful Karen and Georgia are lifelong fans of true crimes, their rapport is absolutely amazing, of course, they are actual friends so when you’re listening to them it’s like you and your friend are chatting like normal, except you know, you’re talking about murder. They keep me laughing and entertained from beginning to end with each episode. Oh and prepare to hear personal anecdotes throughout. Those girls crack me the hell up, all the time.
But, I must mention that they do not cross the line, they’re hilarious when talking about the murder, but they are respectful of the victims. Because we are talking about real people who lost their lives to monsters.
So, with this podcast, the ladies tell each other tales of murder and we hear friends and fans tell a hometown murder story that happened in their town or state/city. So get this, the podcast fans are called murderinos, ya, I even got a necklace with it, cause well I am a murderino, I’m a true crime fan all the way. They have these catchphrases that you’ll hear in episodes, like, “F–k politeness,” “Stay sexy, don’t get murdered (my favourite),” “Stay out of the forest,” and “Toxic masculinity ruins the party again.”
We also hear about the animals in their lives quite frequently (especially Elvis) The first time I heard Georgia ask her Siamese cat this, “Elvis, you want a cookie” and he actually answered, I almost fell off the seat on the train laughing my ass off. He answers everytime by-the-way.
Find My Favourite Murder on whatever platform you listen to your podcast.
Google Play, iTunes, Spotify, Stitcher, PodBean. Ya, they’re everywheređ.
Stay sexy, and don’t get murdered.
No way, my friends went to the same show in Toronto! Heard so many good things about this podcast and I’m really fascinated by the topics so I should give it a listen!

Have you listened to the Sword and Scale podcast? I got really into true crime podcasts at my last job (it was an office job and we were allowed to have headphones in, so I spent 8+ hours every day listening to music/podcasts!). It’s more of a serious podcast, but it’s super interesting and haunting. One episode about the abortion doctor, Kermit Gosnell, still haunts me to this day. It’s some messed up stuff! Super interesting, though. Check it out if you haven’t already!
