Movie Update – #PetSematary #StephenKingAdaptations #Movies #ConstantReader #StephenKing

Release April 5, 2019

From my previous post on Stephen King Movie Adaptations, I’m excited to see, this is an update on Pet Sematary.

As some of you may know, I’m a huge Stephen King fan (Constant Reader).

Okay! So we all remember the previous adaptation of Pet Sematary from 1989 right, was it scary for you guys? What did you think?

I’m hoping this one will be utterly terrifying.

The trailer looks oh damn, what the hell. Oooh, that does look really awesome 😁😁.

Check out the Trailer and let me know your thoughts.

Synopsis

Based on the seminal horror novel by Stephen King, Pet Sematary follows Dr. Louis Creed (Jason Clarke), who, after relocating with his wife Rachel (Amy Seimetz) and their two young children from Boston to rural Maine, discovers a mysterious burial ground hidden deep in the woods near the family’s new home. When tragedy strikes, Louis turns to his unusual neighbor, Jud Crandall (John Lithgow), setting off a perilous chain reaction that unleashes an unfathomable evil with horrific consequences.

  1. Ack. Probably the only Stephen King book and film that did not need to be remade since the originals or both scarier than f*ck. If you do see it post about it. I will not be seeing it. I am still horribly scarred from watching the original.

  2. Geez… I liked the first movie but the remake looks absolutely terrifying! I don’t think my I can keep myself from screaming loudly in the theater so I will have to pass.

  3. This is one of my all time favorite King books, The Stand being the first. I didn’t like the first movie, I thought it was silly and didn’t follow the book closely enough. But this one.. I can not wait!! King has said it will scare the sh*t out of you, which he also said about IT, so I’m ready!!! Although, I still have nightmares from the book!!

  4. I just wish the filmmakers didn’t botch it the way they did Dark Tower. I’m a Stephen King fan as well so I’m a little critical on movie adaptations.
